Catching up with the stars after Eid

Eid-ul-Azha is a time where family and friends come together, and under normal circumstances, houses would be buzzing with festive fervour. However, like last year, most of us spent the occasion in the confines of our homes, deprived of the usual pleasure of seeing many loved ones. Our celebrities were no exception. As the country battles the coronavirus crisis, popular actors urged everyone to stay cautious and stay at home in these trying times.

Nusrat Imrose Tisha is known to be one of the busiest artistes, especially during the Eid season. Much to the dismay of her fans, for the first time in her career, she is not appearing in any new Eid tele-fictions. Owing to a leg injury and the pandemic, Tisha has been spending most of her time at home. Nonetheless, she will host the latest season of the celebrity game show, "The Box." She has also worked on Chorki's anthology series, "Unoloukik".

"Eid is a time of happiness. I look back on my childhood memories of Eid fondly. I lost my father many years ago. I miss him very much, particularly on special occasions such as Eid. As we are battling the coronavirus crisis, I celebrated Eid at home," she says.

"I request people to stay home and stay safe. Please do not go out of the house, unless there are emergencies. Being alive is more important than any festivities," Tisha adds.
