Competition on Tagore songs by JRSSP

A daylong regional competition on Rabindra Sangeet was held at Muslim Institute auditorium today, organised by Jatiya Rabindra Sangeet Sammilon Parishad (JRSSP) Mymensingh unit.

Some 40 artistes from Mymensingh, Sherpur, Jamalpur and Netrakona districts took part in the competition in two groups.

Most competitors rendered popular Tagore songs such as “Sohosa Dalpala Tor”, “Momo Chitte”, and more.

The judges of the competition were Mainuddin Nazir and Chhaya Karmaker.

JRSSP Mymensingh president Dr. Monujurul Alam, Professor of Bangladesh Agricultural University inaugurated the event as chief guest.
