Bangladesh U-19 maintain their winning run as they defeat Malaysia U-19 by 262 runs to top the table in the U-19 Asia Cup.

Bangladesh U-19 dominated proceedings against hosts Malysia U-19 at Bayuemas, Malysia as they grabbed their second win to top the table in the youth Asia Cup.

The young Tigers put on 335 for the loss of six wickets, courtesy of a brilliant third-wicket 192-run partnership between skipper Saif Hassan and centurion Towhid Hridoy.

Towhid struck run-a-ball 120 while Saif scored 90 runs as they U-19 side powered to a huge total against the hosts.

Malyasia U-19 put up a shocking batting performance as they lost wickets at regular interval amidst increasing required run-rate. In the end Malaysia managed to reach just 73 runs from their 50 overs for the loss of eight wickets which handed Bangladesh a massive 262-run victory.

Shakhawat Hossain picked up three wickets for 18 runs while Afif Hossain picked up two wickets for 19.

Bangladesh's first game saw them win against Nepal U-19 by two wickets.

Bangladesh have been placed in Group A alongside India, Nepal and Malaysia. The Tigers play their final Group A match against India U-19 on November 14.
