Fire breaks out at Eastern Plaza

A fire broke out at capital's Eastern Plaza shopping complex this afternoon.

None was hurt in the fire.

The fire started on an escalator of the multi storied building at around 2:04pm, Fire Service officials told The Daily Star.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.

On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze at 2:45pm.
